
Arts4All Florida offers classes in visual, music, dance and movement and the performing arts to students and adults of all abilities. Headquartered at the University of South Florida in the College of Education, Arts4All Florida provides, supports and champions arts education and cultural experiences for and by people with disabilities. The goals for our community-based programs are to encourage personal development, group participation, and camaraderie while teaching creative expression. Classes are led by professional artists/art teachers, certified instructors, and disability experts.
Virtual class options have been added to our list of services to meet the needs of the times. In-person programming will be offered again when safety is able to be socially ensured.

Class Description:
This class offers the opportunity for music lovers to become music makers using the iPad as an instrument and digital audio workstation. We will explore some of the fundamentals of music making such as rhythm, meter, melody, and harmony and find inspiration through listening to music, nature, and our communities. By the end of the course, students will have built the skills to create their own musical compositions to share with family and friends.

Class Description:
Learn how to design for a 3D printer using Tinkercad for beginners. This introduction to digital 3D modeling will take you through the steps of developing a 3D character, designing a printable 3D model, and exporting the model into Augmented Reality. Computer or tablet, stable internet connection, and mouse required. No experience is necessary.

Class Description:
Art therapy can assist children on the autism spectrum to recognize their abilities and develop positive self-esteem. Miss Lee Cohen underlines the value of kids having fun while using art to promote emotional awareness, social cues, and improved communication. All art activities will be condensed to a simple drawing procedure with step-by-step instructions and a few options. Miss Lee’s purpose is for the kids to communicate through artistic mediums using their already visual-minded brains.

Career Arts - New Class beginning September 8, 2022
In-Person Motivating People through Arts and Crafts, Tallahassee- This Community Art Class is for teens and young adults with Autism and related diverse abilities. Students will explore and experiment with a variety of materials, create and build community with other local artists, and develop their personal art practice.

Class Description:
Join Miss Nanci as you explore the world of dance! Focusing on Jazz, Lyrical Dance, Hip Hop, and Folk you will learn history of movement and observe famous dancers. Beginning American Sign Language Level I

This Beginning ASL level 1 class for adults ages 18+ will present the fundamentals of American Sign Language (ASL) whereby students develop expressive and receptive language skills through the learning of basic vocabulary, grammatical structures, and cultural awareness. 3. Animals and Foods
4. No, None, Nothing - Negative Responds
5. Ranking and List
6. Translating Sentences with the word “Have”, “Have to”, “Haven’t”, “Don’t Have”.

Parkinson's in Movement with Andrew Carroll

Want to Bring a Class to Your Community?

Identify a group of at least 7 participants. Participants with and without disabilities can be included.

Find a community space willing to share a room for classes at no charge (schools, libraries, places of faith, etc.).

Call us and we’ll connect you with a professional teaching artist to teach visual art, music, dance and movement, literary arts, or drama. Each artist is trained to work with adaptive materials and alternative solutions to enable all participants to succeed.

Arts4All Florida will provide marketing and oversee registration and payments.
Class fee: $10 per student per session. We generally run programs for a six week session.
